I just got a new piston and ring kit and Im installing it myself I wanted to find out what some of you guys use to install it? I know you can use ring compressers but I also heard you can use a hose clamp so I wanted to get some tips thanks

You don't need a ring compressor for a Blaster, the bottom of the cylinder is tapered, just hold them with your fingers and gently slide the cylinder down over the piston. make SHURE! the ring gaps are over the pins!

Ok maybe a stupid question but when you say make sure the ring gaps are over the pins what exactly does that mean. I know what the ring gaps are but what are the pins??
=))

theres one little pin in each of the ring grooves. If you pinch the rings and try to rotate the ring around the groove the ring gap will hit the pin and it won't turn anymore. The pins are located in different positions on the piston.
