Piston help!

Us old guys get our experience from the mistakes we have made!

My first major mistake I made was to fill an Aston Martin DB5 radiator with coolant, only to find out an expensive while later it was the engine oil filler that I had topped up.

Funnist one I every made was putting antifreeze in windsheild washer, winter slop, rush hour, nothing to clean it off good, not a good morning.

Yeah I spent 3 hours the other day trying to get a basically new generator going and couldn't figure it out. I went and grabbed a gas can that had a little diesel in it to rinse the tank out and that's when I realized I grabbed the wrong can when I put gas in it

You're joking, like a REAL db5?

I lost a job a few months back because I got pulled form a car changing oil (C4 Corvette) because the head mechanic had to do something else on the car. I filled in where he was, and when I came back, he said, "It's good to go." I interpreted that he filled the car back up with oil after I drained it. I think you guys get where I'm going with this.

Speaking of pistons, I have a guy that might be bringing a YZ125 by that has had 4-5 top end jobs done within the past year. The current shop keeps telling him that they're finding metal shavings lodged between the piston and the sleeve every time it comes back and that they can't figure it out. Nothing gets the motivation going like trying to fix what someone else can't...
