my pipe gasket it leaking pretty bad and unburned premix is dripping all over the motor... yuk, but anyways i was wondering id this would cause my machine to run lean, and make it idle irregularity ?

nope, the air is leaving the engine at that point, not gunna have much of an affect if any

wrong, the pipe plays a huge role in how a 2 stroke runs. sure the air is leaving, but the pipe "bounces" the air charge back to the cylinder to be burnt, that's why they're shaped the way they are.

get it sealed back up, but since you'll have it off anyway, i'd do a leakdown on it to see if anything else is going on as well.

hmmmmm, lean something every day o guess, definately not something to leave unsettled

i noticed also that the finish on the pipe has burt up by the gasket area, its all purple-ish n blue-ish which i know is a sign of it being lean

what kind of pipe is it?

an what does the spark plug look like after a plug chop? how about the results of a leakdown?

umm, my banshee, my zilla, they all burning makes there. seen them on almost all quads. if it is running good, it will get hot there.

thats a of running lean usually, im not talk about just a lil ring of burn, im talking about from the gasket area to about 6inches down the pipe

it is more a tarnish mark
chrome pipes get them really bad.
