i know i promised you guys pics like a week ago but i keep forgetting to grab my camera. i just put it out in my car so i dont forget it tomorrow, so i promise there will be pics up tomorrow. small update on it anyways. it ate the idler gear bushing which in turn ate the out put shaft. so i took the motor out and tore it down tonight only to find that both pistons are cracked, the clutch pressure plate is cracked, the clutch lever in the motor is toast and the ball in the clutch shaft welded its self to one of the clutch push rods. so i just got in too deep to back out of this one.
thanks for the kind words...ok anybody but 370 who said anything about banshees is wrong. you dont need a 4mm stroker to get 70hp. they arent a huge money pit, and the problems arenty never ending when they break......know what you are saying is correct info before posting please. 370 has done a trail port that is 60+hp, and with some tweaking could make 70hp. stock stroke!!!!!!!! with fmf fatty pipes also. not to mention that if you know what the hell you are doing and set the bike up correctly, you dont have a ton of problems.....there are tons of banshees running around that are realiable as hell. start 1st or 2nd kick everytime...
its all ion the setup. if you ahve no clue then its bound to fail. my bike is around 60hp, its a stock stroke and its more reliable then any thing i've ever owned....
also just becasue LRD touched it...doesnt mean sh*t. somebody after that could have messed with the setup making it a turd.....
if you want good info on banshees and setting them up for trails or whatever, here are 3 names

dude you need to chill out a bit... i see why some peole get so frustrated with you.... read the whole tread... then post.. your a yougn guy still read read read.. learn learn learn... then speak.... you'll save yourself alot of egg on your face.. and save others alot of frustration... learn all this while your young.. and you'll be thankful in your 20's and 30's....its was a turd then.....

how did you come to this conclusion? i've had them scatter.. fixed them.. and never another issue... obviously the peopel your tlaking to don't know what they are doing or they are not inspecting the parts associated with the part that broke
again how do you come to this conclusion? with pipes and porting i'm building them 60+ hp.. and VERY RELIABLE.. in fact mine went 3 years on a set of rings.. longer than i susually let them go but i did that just to disprove accusation like this one.. and the rings didn't wear in one spot or hang on a port.. they just wore out normally.. lost tension and compression started dropping.. you wann know why some shees are money pits... stupid ases try and set them up and have NO clue WTF theyare doing.. same as any quad ever made... "drag pipes" doesn't mean you have a 4sec drag bike.. and just because some didlo with a dremel cut inside teh reed box doesn't mean you have a drag port either.. it all boils down to uneducated people doing uneducated things..
