picked me up a 300ex

no because the solenoid is bad and it wont even try to to start so i have to mess with the wiring this is the advantage to kick start u can tell if it has compression but nooo this has to be electric start with no backup like i said i have to tinker with it and it should be loud judging on how big and short the silencer is

i just mean why would you ever buy something without hearing it run. anyone can say it needs a battery. you need to be the smart one and push it and pop the clutch to see if it rund

i dont care if it runs or not either way i can and am going to sell it soon i'm not keeping it i was going to put in a top end anyway so i dont care if it runs or not i am going to double my money on it by putting a few bucks into it i was going to keep it but i am going to buy a yz250 or cr250 4 stroke motor for my race blaster

use the battery out of your blaster. the 300ex came with a bigger battery but it should work. but seriously though... werent the 300exs made from a 250r with a 4 stroke motor?

I f*ckin hate electric starts with a passion. This is the one downside of me upgrading to a Z/KFX/DVX........there are no kickstart kits really available and you need to put a DRZ bottom end to get it to work effectively to my knowledge.

Electric Start=FAIL

Added weight, if it goes dead, you're dead. Nothing is as reliable as your leg and if you screw one of them up, you can always sit backwards and use your backup leg.

Honda made a lot of praise with Honda owners about "250R like chassis" when they came out with the 300ex and 400ex(250x for that matter), but in reality, they don't really compare. It's not like it's some Lobo chassis anyways.

the 300ex frame sucks the blaster frame is superior to the 300ex the 300ex frame is in squar shape instead of round and it isnt alluminum its just square blaster frame is 100x better

so the frame war begins lol an i amblaster frame for my build for my race quad going to need to get a 06 i would have used the 300ex but the blaster is lower and wider so a 250 4 stroke motor with 35 stock and up to 45 with mods in a light blaster frame oughta fly but the 300ex i have i am anchious to see how it runs because i have never ridden a 4 stroke except for a 70cc kock off pit bike that was my cousins

I have only rode one four stroke and it was a 87' Honda 200sx. It was a pos. I would never get one lol. I'm thinking of trading mine for the 300ex I mentioned earlier in this thread. It seems nice. I just don't want to down grade myself. I know they are slower on the top end but they have better low end than a blaster. That's why I might get it cause it would make a good trail quad.
