just pick up a canoe today for $50.me and a friend went in half on it since he live across the street from the river.needs a lil bit of work but not to much.got most of the work done today
i always wanted one too, maybe look for one over winter or spring, but my uncle had one once, and it had an electric trolling motor on it, you'd be surprised how good the thing went because of the way less resistance than a regular boat, we used to cruise right up the river like nuthin, then flaot back down while fishing
i just found another one on craigslist like a couple miles away for 75 obo.tryin to see if they have a pic of it then if its decent imma try to get it for 50 like i did this one
you haven't been so relaxed untill you've trecked out into "our" lake on a canoe. Theres a lake we call reed lake(they changed the name long ago but we still call it that) and its like 6 hours noth of me in the middle of no were. My Opa's been going there since the 50's and then they took my dad and uncle there for years. i personally have only been there twice but it never changes. Great fishing and its a huge lake for no one to be there. you have to do a hefty portage so our Swift canoe is amazing. maybe ill find some pics. Its probably my favorite place in ever.
deliverance anyone ? lol no realy though i have 2 canoes and a kayak i do have to say they are so relaxing and if you go solo the kayak is the way to go its great... btw is the one you got wood , fiberglass , or aluminum ?
