when discribing your clutch you said "spring plate replaced with full disk" what does that mean? im about to upgrade/replace my clutch and i was wondring what you did there and what are the binifits? thanks and btw thats a wild looking blaster you have, whats everyones input on his clutch setup?

Some kits only offer the fibers all the same inside diameter. This would not require you to install the wave washer.

my clutch theory, stock plates stock disks, there is a half width disk in the pak along with a wavey thing (spring disk) to make the clutch less grabby for the inexperienced rider. the clutch is stronger if you replace it with a full size disk. remember to soak the disks for a couple hours in oil first. and properly adjust the internal tension. so stock plates and disks , barnett heavy springs... if the basket is all notched up, replace that too, or your just throwing money away on a new clutch.

can you post a pic of what to leave out? i have a new stock clutch but i want to be sure im leaving out the right things, and also how much do you tighten the springs down to? what spec?

I know what hes talking about I just need to know if anybody knows of a clutch kit thats includes a full disk and not the disk for the wavey thing

its wavy and has little dimples all over it isnt it? so just take that out and put everything back the same, now what about the springs how much do i tighten them down? thanks guys and girls

No i think you have to get a disk thats full width cause i think the disk for the wavy thing is a differant width than the others. PHRAGLE TO THE RESCUE!!!

yup whare you at lol.. damn hes smart with this stuff, he should make a thread with his own ideas for cheap/ easy mods like this, he has alot ....

Right but thats why he is a world record endurance holder and has been featured in dirtwheels. All the hard work and devotion payed off for him.

Just a thought but could i use a old disk from my old clutch and put that in with my new clutch in place of the wavey thing and disk for te wavey thing?

The wave washer has no dimples. It is about 3/16" wide and looks as if it is warped if you lay it on a flat surface. Barnett clutches have all the same size fibers. Do not misplace the washer, you might need it at a later time.
