me and my friend have blasters they are the same we are both running the same pipe and jet. the only difference of the two is the years mine is a 2001 his is a 1997. but for some reason his seems to have more power than mine. when we drag from a dig he beats me every time over a 500ft drag he pulls a good three car lengths on me and i am getting good starts too. any suggestions would be great help thanks.

switch quads and see if the result is the same. It could be the riders ability. You could also go a comp check to see where each machine is at.
we have tried switching quads same results my friend feels it to it just like mine doesn't want to get up and go like his. im new to blasters so i don't know what to really check for.
There are many diffrent things that could be at play, If his top end is newer then yours. Has there been any work done to his internally? set up will also have some to do with it.
If he has bigger rear tires that will affect top end speed. What gearing are you running? stock? try a 14t front and it should even out. What size tires dose he have? what size do you have?
