ok so i put the airbox on recently and now it feels like ive had a loss of power.. Ive gone from a pod type k&N filter right off the back of the carb to a PB airbox w/ UNI Filter. im running a 36mm carb.. anybody else run into this change in power??
do i need to adjust the air mixture now??

yea but i wanna go fast.. lol
im gonna try doing a few plug chops..
the guy at thee local quad shop says i have to change my pilot jet.. umm from what ive learned so far i think he's wrong.. correct me if i am but if i restrict the airflow by putting an airbox cant i make up for that by opening the air mixture screw some making it get more air..

you need to rejet, cant give a 100%, but chances are your way off, when jetted right without an airbox kid you should be making more power.

Pods are horrible to jet. the air tumbles into the mouth of the carb and doesnt build velocity before it hits the jets. for pods to work , you have to have a stand off tube so the air can stabalize.

it seems to run strong as hell now.. i did have the little trenga tube..
