Yeah, thanks. Guy said he didn't use paypal and preferred a money order.
How are you protected via paypal? If you send funds via paypal and the guy withdraws them immediately and does not send you parts how would paypal return your money?
doesn't matter paypal has all his info, name, address, bank info etc, and they insure your purchases, you file a dispute with them, within 30 days you will have your money back, personal experience, a cold air intake that cost me 350 for my titan, used paypal, got my money in 30 days...

he told me the same thing. glad he never got back to me. either way at this point its sad. whether hes out trying to rob people or hes sick or whatever you just dont make a thread for selling something and never check the site or your pm's and then come up with some bs about you only use money order. thats pretty effed up.

thats why i would never use a mo, sorry this happened to you toy, but people are desperate right now and will do anything, if i buy something anywhere off the internet, i use paypal.

Speaking in my defense, however, the guy gave me his full name, address, email address, and cell phone number and he called me and I called him a couple of times and he answered his phone (up until after he received my check). There was a certain amount of (false) confidence generated by that. I thought, Why would a guy give out all his personal info, including his home address, and then screw someone intentionally. Live and learn.
I will file charges and believe I have an abundance of physical evidence so the guy will soon be sitting in jail and not be in a position to screw anyone else.
yeah, trust me i have before too, probably not for what he took you for, but i think he will be returning your money before anything happens or send you what you wanted, you tried to get a hold of him recently?
i hate reading threads where someone was was ripped off. it's the same whereever you go.i am on some streetbike stunt threads and people get ripped off alot!. my name is the same on every thread, myspace, pay pal. i am about to order some heel gaurds for my daughters blaster and it's looking like i ight as well go with ebay. which is sad cause the ones that get hurt by the people trying to rip people off are not only the ones they get for money but the guys out there that have the part for sale but people are too leery to buy off of threads..

that sucks Doerr. like i said before and if im wrong ill come out and say im wrong but this is pretty effed up Mototech. people want the parts that you agreed to sell to them but your too busy spending they're money that you had to have by money order because you know there was a trust issue
Yes I need both of those. However I have to hold off on those until I can get my bike going again. Its gotta run before you can ride. Thanks man.
