Parking brake delete

Have a question, I Eliminated the parking brake, do i need to splice the two wires for the switch together like tors or can I just leave it unplugged like the key switch?

I got the nology coil hooked up last evening and befoere I try to fire it up wanna make sure I have everything correct. First experience with the 03+ wiring, looking at the diagram it seems to be set up same as tors but not sure.

i think you leave it unplugged iirc. my blue blaster wanted to back fire like crazy when i spliced the wires together. i cut them off short, taped them, and left 'em hanging with no issues.
