painting plastics

hi guys i just brought my son a lt50 his 1st quad i wana do it to match my quad what paint can i use to paint the plastics and tank as every paint ive used in the past peels of as soon as petrol spills on the tank

Not sure if any paint will hold up well to gas and abuse. Most people use Krylon Fushion spray paint.

yes, quite a few members have painted their plastics, use krylon fusion.....and a funnel with care when filling with fuel

i painted a ugly yz250 gas tank and spilt gas when filling a few times and it STAYED ON lol it was just that rustoleum 2x coverage can

I used plasti dip on my brothers 300ex a few months ago and its still on and looks good. Bought it at lowes $6 bucks a can took 3 cans.

this was that uggggly old yz white dirty plastic spray painted with rustoleum 2x coverage can it was bad trust me and it stayed on pretty good for the $3.48 i payed for can then stickers i spilled gas o n it at least 4 times it did not affect it..i might have clear coated it to.....carb cleaner or brake fluid will destroy it though....
