alright wana paint my plastics but ive seen quads with it done and they start to peel real easy i was thinkin i got some tiger hair i thought mabey coatin them in a thin layer of that and makein em nice and smooth then paintin them with a coat of good primer and then like 2 coats of paint and prbely clear coat to keep it from scrathing better i was thinkin that would work out pretty good but wat r u guyes opions

I cleaned my plastics with a pressure washer mine had been painted by the previous owners white then yellow then black over the yamaha blue so I used 2 cans of krylon fusion patriot blue and they look stock yamaha blue again they are a bit battered being 10 years old but that krylon fusion covers great dries fast needs no primer and doesn't peel great stuff

alright still thinkin tho i herd if i put that tiger hair on tho since its like fiberglass it should make my plastics stronger to but idk the plastic anit bad but im pretty much overhauling the thing one step at a time first steps brakes then motor then paint cuz not alot of money to paint the plastics and all that since im putin like 1600 into the motor lol then shocks and all that stuff

Heres a couple pics , the black was when I got it , the blue is how it looks now , I really like it . I used Krylon Fusion Patriot Blue .

i wanna paint mine but on they sell vinyl paint like for interiors and stuff and its suppose to be flexible. maybe try something like that. on ebay it sells for like 18 bucks i think

prep and good paint is the key. and if you ride through the rough stuff then yea eventually its gonna peel no matter what you put on it. automotive paint with flex agent is the best way to go. its been two years for me and no cracks or peels yet

Use the Fusion it's good stuff.
It has the additives in it to be flexable.
Be sure to prep the plastic by wipeing it down with a was, grease, oil remover- this is important.
Here's my Banshee before and after.

yea thats wat i was thinking to make them a little bit more smooth and get rid of any oil or dirt or anything that mightbe left behind better safe than sorry pretty much what im saying lol
