i just painted my plastics with kyrlon fusion black pain and it came out really really good my blasty looks so good now, sothe only thing i was questionin is would a clear coat protect it any cause i really dont wanna mess it up

I painted all my plastics and clear coated mine also and have had not a single problem. Without the clear the Krylon Fusion paint seemed to chip off easy. And I did not skimp on the prep work one bit.

Im thinking of painting my plastics black soon too with krylon fusion. After clear coating would it be a good idea to wax with some type of car wax for more protection?

wow.. same.... i want to paint them black, and my mom is going to help.. she paints for her work cuz the sells antiques. she said i should sand it lightly paint them and then clear coat it. is this correct.

Yes you want to start with about 800 and end with 1500 or soo grit

clean really well
Priming may be needed
then paint light coats till covered, clear coat it a few light coats after and it will last..

Gas,oil and heat resist clear coat is awesome

Take your time
