lads started the blaster let her heat up 4 ten min r so, then took the her out around the block maybe 5 min on the road, got back to house and it seemed to me it was give alot more heat than any other day, whats the right temp and how do i check it. could i put a temp gage on her and how.its a 2006 blaster stockish

You can try to install a snowmobile temp gauge for air cooled engines. It has the gauge that you mount wherever and the probe is an eyelet that goes between the plug and head. as for the correct temp I have no idea what it should be.

unless u have a severe air leak, ur jetting is really whats gonna cause it to run hot or overheat...if it ran fine before, try looking for an airleak somewhere

its never heated like that be4 2day and im in ireland so its not hot hear, is there a gauge i could get to see how hot it gets

correct me if im wrong but if u want to get the all-in-one type of deal you could buy a trail tech computer. they run around $100-$130 i would say and they display speed, rpm, temp, miles and all sorts of other stuff

you can also get a hand held lazer thermometer that will give you a surface temp reading of anything you point it at! just another idea! I use them all the time to see which injector isn't firing in diesels at work!
