Can you do this? i want a little .22 pistol and i found outdoor stores can ship it to a FFl or something certifeid gun dealer...? i think all they do is check your driver liscense and background. any of you all done it? I will do anything to stay away from our local gun store.

you can order them on the internet but they only deliver them to an outfitter store or a hunting store. and then you go and pick it up. thats what my dad had to do all 4 times when he ordered his handguns

sweet! i love the old crack of a .22

i'm liking the heritage arms rough rider .22 any of you guys have it?
and also, what do they check at the place before you can have your gun? last time we tried to buy a gun at dicks they decided to be asses and said since my dad has a pennsylvania drivers liscence and we lived in VA. i mean, it was a damn pellet rifle....

are you old enough... you have to be 21 to buy a pistol in VA. but yeah you buy it online it ships to an authorized dealer then you pick it up there. but they have a bunch of fees for doing it. its easier to just go to the gun store and buy one

yea there are fees u have to pay to pick the gun up. if you dont pass the backround when ur there ur stuck paying fees for nothing. thats y here in iowa u can go out an pay a anual fee of 5 bucks to get a handgun permit for purchasing handguns an that waves the backround waiting period cause they do it at the sheriffs office. took me like 2 mins to pass it and then i went out an bought 3 ak47s lol. i have a vid of my ggf an i shootin my durangos raido when the radio died with the ak lol

When I got the .22 the lady called the front office and a minute later she said i was approved. No reason i shouldnt have been approved i was just surprised it was so fast

it varies on the state and the website and the dealer location. It will be cheaper to just go to a dealer. They can order whatever type of gun you are looking for if it isnt already in their inventory. And you wont be charged fees if they order it in for you.

thats what i'm going to do. there are two local gun shops like 5 minutes from my house. i just discovered one today. its a real old shop but they were closed so i'll have to go look on friday. the other shop which i dont like is northern VA's largest shop but the customer service sucks balls.
