On my way home

Well tonight on my way home , my usuall way except for I stopped at my riding buddy's house to pick up a tent for our sand lake trip and to fix his toyhauler's battery wiring , so I guess I was about 2 hours later coming home than usual and I looked over and saw a mattress burning in the alcove of an apartment building , I drive my work truck home so I pulled over hit my emergency strobes and laid down some dry checmical and put it out , then I saw behind some old blocked doors the fire had spread inside , I called my dispatch and about 10 minutes later Fire Dept. arrived and luckily only 2 units were burned , no one hurt , I do feel bad for the 4 or 5 people who need to find a new place to live , but I feel glad like maybe I helped at least keeping all their stuff from going up in flames . It felt good to help , just thought I'd share that . I:II:II:I
