anyone ever thought of useing the old oil tank for an extra fuel reserve

or leave oil in it so you dont have to carry oil to premix at a gas station

i did that for a while as a backup, kinda sucks. but gets the job done

yo yb200 has a good idea. i might do that. and who cares if its ugly or not. its function over looks. its either u run out of fuel and refuel and make it home or run out of fuel and push ur sh*t home(not fun).

i like your thinkin, there are times i ride mostly with 4 pokes, and they can go all day, so a little extra to make it home on would be good

when i was building mine at school my teacher suggested the oil tank to fuel tank idea. apparently alot of people do it, but i dont think that little amount of gas will matter.

if you're going to do it its better to just keep the hose connected to the tank and tuck it up under your seat and keep the oil tank filled with your favorite oil. then yuo always have oil, but you then need a way to measure it.

i just put my 1 gal can in my bumper it fits perfect

if you not using your air box like me you put the tank in there and run a hose out so you wont see it!
