Oil seals material

Does anybody knows the difference of oil seals made of NR vs NBR?

I noticed that Yamaha changed the blaster shifter shaft oil seal from NBR to NR (P/N 93101-12060 replaced by 93101-12173).

Does anybody knows if they did that because NR seals are better than NBR seals? or it's because they are cheaper?

Reading material for at least 15 minutes and knowledge for about a year:

Selecting Rubber Compounds - Natural Rubber, Neoprene, Nitrile, EPDM, Silicone, Hypalon, SBR, Viton

I doubt very seriously that yamaha actually starting sourcing shifter seals out of NR, it's more likely they switched vendors to National Rawhide (NR abbr.)
