Hey guys I fitted a oil pump to my blaster. When I started bike to see if it pumps it's got very hot in like 10 sec. (The pump) I blead it and oil does come out. Is there a richness setting on the carb or will it supply what it needs. Nervous to just put fuel in now without mixing oil but I want bike origanal so must work

If the pump is supplying oil to the little hose that fits on the nipple on the carb, that is all you need.

I will meter the oil at approx. 20:1.

Oil has very little in relation to it getting hot, heat is usually produced by to lean a jetting or an air leak.

Have you leak tested lately.

Has the nipple on the carb been cleaned out so that it does actually allow oil into the carby, sometimes them that block off the nipple use a silicone which may still be blocking the little nipple.

It delivers fine not the engine getting got the oil pump gets cooking as u start up

I read that wrong didn't I.

As TwoJay says, the bush/bearing in the pump may be tight.

Remove the pump and see wether the gear spins freely.

A oil pump block off plate can be had for $6 on ebay. Why not just get rid of the pump and run premix only?
