Hello guys, im new here. Sorry if I created this in the wrong place, please move to the correct place.

I recently got the 2001 Yamaha Blaster, and I started to notice I have what seems like to be an oil leak. Im new to ATV as well, so I dont know much. Where the circle is, thats where the leak is, right where that hose is connected.

Ok, I think it makes sense now. I recently bought this ATV, and he said that he lost the idle screw before he sold it. Can that be the reason? I didn't ride the ATV rough though, as I knew it has little issue. If thats the reason, what exactly is that screw called? And where I can buy it?

Heres the picture again, with diff circles. The right circle it has a screw, the left one, is missing a screw, just an empty hole. Thats what I need.

thats not the idle screw the idle screw is on top of the TORS the right circle is the air fuel mixture and the left one im not sure about

what exactly do you mean "all the way thru the carb". Theres no hole on the other side of the carb, if thats what you mean. The hole is maybe about an inch deep, thats what it seems like

the left circle should have the same screw the right circle have. what kind of screw does the right screw have? whats the name? or where can I buy that kind of screw?

that screw on the right should be the air fuel screw that can adjust your idle so from what your saying you need a new air fuel screw and you should be good to go

anybody have that screw they can ship me?

oh and one more question, air fuel screw, are they universal? for any ATV? or have to be specific for blaster?

The Idle air screw and the Idle speed screw(the one you are missing) are different. They have different points on them. They are specific to the carb. On yours the idle speed screw is probably not drilled through to the inside of the carb. On yours the idle speed is Probably still adjusted on the TORS (Throttle Over Ride System) since it has not been removed. The TORS is the piece on top of the actual carb where the throttle cable first goes in. It cuts the ignition in the event that the throttle sticks open when you let off. Most of us removed the long ago the tend to be nothing but trouble.
As for your leak, none of that is your problem. As mentioned earlier it most likely just needs the carb floats adjusted. If that wont fix it then the fuel valve that the float turns on and off is leaking (cant remember what the technical name for it is) these are the only two things that are likely to cause that hose to leak.
