On the top of the right side case there is a small barb fitting. I am leaking oil from this spot when I ride. Can I plug this or does it need to vent. Is there a reason why it blow out when I ride. Thanks for any help.
Thats a vent for the gearbox, it's suppose to have a piece of tubing attached to it that runs up and along the frame rail to the front of the quad.
Don't plug it!!

Run it up along the frame, all the way to the handle bars. Clear tube is ideal so you'll know if oil is trying to puke out or not. Make sure there is a good seal down at the crank case so if you go into water, water won't be going into the tranny!!
You can kinda see in this pic, it's a little stretched from moving everything around, but it goes back and then runs on the inside of the "driver side" of the frame.
When I put mine back on I'll probably hose clamp it or at least zip tie it on, just to be safe.
Also, you could put a little air filter on the end of it, because it does take air in from that tube. Or you could put a water-proof valve, that lets it breathe, but if you got water up to the handle bars (which would suck anyways) the water wouldn't go into the tube.
