i recently rebuilt the top end and was thinkin of unhookin the oil injection. what are the pros and cons of this other than not havin to worry bout pump malfunction? what all do i do to unhook and block it? what would the premix be? 32:1?

no need to plug anything but the injection line to the carb. people say to pull the plastic gear off the crankcase but i never did and a year and a half later and it hasnt gone anywhere. pros= you dont have to worry about the pump failing. cons= nothing. but yeah 32:1 is a great mix. people use all kinds of different oil. i use amsoil sabre at 100:1, but use some maxima super m at 32:1.
only disadvantage is you cant just pull up to the pump and put straight gas in anymore. no biggie though, just carry a bottle of oil

to remove the injection... you pull the kickstarter off then pull the clutch cover off behind it... on the back side of the clutch cover you will see a little white gear... take the little clip off the gear pull the gear off and put the clutch cover back on... no cut the oil injection lines and plug them with some rtv. remove the oil tank and drain all the gas then add in 32:1 premix gas and ride
