im going to be rebuilding my top end next week and b4 i get it up and running i want to block off the oil injection system. i know there are many posts about this but im just a little confused. some people say go with the kit but the kit doesnt look like much more than a waste of 30 bucks. it might not be but it looks like it. also ive read about just taking the two white gears out and plugging the tubes. this sounds free and easy but some say its risky. what do you guys say? also what tubes do i cut and do i plug them leaving or the pump or entering the carb? or just tell me exectly how to do it haha.

Well I say if you going to do it do it right the first time.
The kit is easy to do, but you can just do it yourself with a piece of sheet metal and some silicone.

IMO it is just easier to buy the kit..
And intall is straight forward.
