Oil changing problems

It might have gotten threaded in wrong last time, or turned to tight.

There should be a rubber seal on it. Thats what mine has on it.

The seal might be missing and it is leaking cuz of it, thats why maybe they turned it to tight. to try and stop it leaking.

Or you might have another issue with a case seals. but Im not thinking that with the info you mentioned.

The difficult part, is cranking that nut off. it might break or strip the threads in the process.

I like PBR blaster, penetrate, works well, you might try it. but thinking you have more of a cross thread over tightening issue.

Now. If you are concerned about touching it. You can get a small hose and come in from the top and suck it out. with one of those sifon type small pumps. Its not gonna get all the sludge and crude at the bottom. but would allow you to change the oil. Without having to loosen the clutch case.

Did you edit your post ? as It looks like you removed some of the thing you were asking or mentioning.

Sporty

Are you sure you were turning the bolt the correct direction. To loosen it you need to turn it counter clockwise. if oil is leaking you may have a bad gasket on the clutch cover. Or worse a cracked or broken case. You can change the oil by loosening the clutch cover on the kicker side of the motor. Be sure to fill it with 650 ML of oil afterwards.

Why is there oil underneath my blasters engine.

I will play your little game, why is there oil underneath your Blasters engine?

Either it is leaking, or you missed when you filled it.

Seriously though, you need to check where it is coming from, I can't really see from here.

Pressure wash the motor, then try to trace where it is coming from.

It could be from the drain plug, a missing breather or a cracked or broken case, only you can tell by observation.

Could even be throw off from the chain as it revolves around the front sprocket.

Yea i changed it because i did get the bolt off. The seal on mine isnt rubber its like a copper one? also the blaster has been smoking but when i looked at the sight glass it was completely to the top, could this have been why it was smoking. kinda looks like there is oil coming from the gear shifter.

If there was more than 650ml of oil in the box it could have caused it to smoke but it would have to have passed through the crank seal.

If that smoke was white and stunk real bad it may pay to do a leakdown test.
