oil block off?

how can i tell if i have the oil block off kit on it? the guy that i got it from said you premix it. i beleive him, but how can i tell? i lifted up the seat, and i saw no bottle or anything to put oil into.

ALSO, theres a tube coming from the bottom of the carb, going to the ground. what could that be?

its a 99 blasy with a 02 motor .040 over

well you wud see the oil bottle on de bak of de quad for a start & the pump shud be on the end of the pipe cumin out of the bottle if dere is 1!
but maybe the man you bought it off jus decided to take the bottle off and premix??????? didn actually use a oil injection block off kit.... and dat pipe you say comes out of the carb i think that is the one dat shud be connected to the oil pump!!

the hose coming off the bottom of the carb is the over flow for the carb bowl. Its suppose to just hang there. Take off the plastic cover on the right side of the engine. If the oil pump is still on it will be right behind the plastic cover. If its blocked off, there should be a little metal plate with 2 screws holding it on.

hmm, i dont think i saw anything like a pump there.. maybe there was a plate. ill check tomarrow now that i know what im lookin for.

ok..... well mine has a pump there i guess. but i cant find the oil tank at all.... how bad is it for the engine if its been pre mixed with out the kit?
im taking it to a shop so they can fix my kickstart and do a onceover and whatever else it needs. i would do it, but i just dont have the time

you can block off your oil with out removing the pump. there is a DIY on how to do it.

the oil block off kit should take you about 5 minutes to install. its really easy.

but even with the pump there it wont hurt it?

well no but its just not as strong as the plate. it should work. there are plenty of people on this forum that block their oil off this way, and i have yet to see a problem.

wondering this as well. i dont think the guy i bought mine off of put the block on. he told me i need to premix and not even bother with the botle even though it was still there with the pump still connected
