YA who cares! i think half of the people who voted for him was due to race. didnt even know what they were voting for. and it seems to me there are less things available for the honkys than the blacks. blacks can be in miss america padgent but whites are not allowed in miss black america. black college funds, black colleges, bet , naacp, black history month... where does it end?? if white folks were to do this type of sh*t its called racist.
So I suppose you voted for McCain because he was white?? Sounds slightly racist to me too.. I voted for McCain, but it was because of the issues..
Anyone who cares about this country,and where it goes does not see white/black candidates, and I highly doubt he was picked because he is black.

nope didnt vote for either because neither are worth a sh*t. seems to me if you write books decribing your hatred to being half white ummm thats a little racist. my feelings are that h( obama) was more popular like a vote for prom king or something. not for the better of the country. and ya this is a race topic, hooray hes black like us!!!! whats he about ? who cares!!!!! sure its about race and its also about "change". i hopr the first thin he bans is rap music and then maybe a flogging for having your ass hanging out of ur pants. i hope he does a great job i could really give a f*ck what color he is. i hope he passes some new laws for my people( european american) so we can have a month for ourselves.
Say what you want. I'm sure glad that there is hope that he might be able to change the direction of this country. I know that Macain and his prom queen weren't going to look out for the little guys.
i think what really bothers me is obama is muslim. say what u will but the quran teaches 0 tolerance for nonbeleivers.hopefully i am paranoid otherwise we are in some serious trouble. and ya mccain and pallin are just money hungry like gw. i would like to see someone make some decisions because its morally correct and not with a hidden agenda.
yea and not to mention he wants to re write the constitution......there are many reasons why he shouldnt be there.....and not to mention his brother hates america and wants to blow us up....obama is probly helping him plan something...alls i know is that him being in office scares the sh*t out of me...we are all f*cked

Nothing personal, but a rant:
Until a few months ago I thought we were smarter here in Texas to not believe every forwarded email we received. Disregarding a preference for either candidate, I can't believe the rumors going around about Obama that people take for fact. Living here in south Texas (McCain country) almost every day someone has come up to me with crap like "OMG did you hear this about Obama?!? He wants to make abortion legal at 9 months!"
Next I'm gonna hear that he kidnapped the Lindbergh baby in 1932.

This is a very frightening time for us all, as long as we still believe what we know we need to, we will be seen through these rough times unharmed.
Saying he is of the Muslim faith because of the middle name given to him and shared by his Kenyan father is a bit of a generalization. BTW, did you know that the primary religion in Kenya is Christianity?

Love him or hate him he is our next President. Thankfully though he really only has so much power.
I work at a coal fired power plant, and I have seen speeches from him, and his vice pres to be, and they both vowed to make it harder on coal fired power so yeah I am nervous as well about my job future. My company is/was planning on breaking ground on a brand new plant on site I was hoping to move to, but that may not happen if they have the chance to step in and put a foot down to stop it. I guess it is time to wait and see where it goes... Change is coming for sure and lets hope it is for the better.
I hope that he does well. I hope that he does not screw us up as a country. I was torn because I thought neither candidate fit my best interest. For those who voted for him congratulations.. For those who voted against him.... Hold on for the ride, and try again in 4 years !

All politicians are full of crap. I don't understand how so many people fall for their tricks and truly believe them.
you no this did come down to race...in (harlem NY) they sent out reporters on the streets and interviewd people on the 2 canidates...only they switched up there policies and then asked them the questions...they asked 100 people...they all swore that they were voting on the issues and not color...but it wasnt true...the reporter asked one guy"so do you agree with obamas choice as choosing palin as his running mate?" and the people were tottaly agreeing with him...they though she was the greatest choice ever...so MOST (black) people who say there voting fer obama not cuz of race is lieing...
