For the record I'm not our sitting president's biggest fan. I voted for John McCain over Barack Obama.... HOWEVER.
^^^^^^ you have to consider the source on that. The NRA is the most inciteful band of folks I have ever seen. They're worse than politicians when it comes to telling the truth. I had a NRA surveyor call my house one night and ask "What did I feel about President Obama inviting the UN to NYC to discuss gun control and stripping honest working Americans of their second amendment right?. He continued on to say that countries such as France and Iran are working to undermine our Bill of Rights!"
I handedly pointed out that Iran is working on NOTHING with the United States at the moment and that he only dropped the name of that country to spread hatred and fear in the uninitiated. He quickly thanked me for my time and hung up as fast as possible.
They're the largest single lobbying firm in Washington D.C. While I agree, in principle, with what they're trying to accomplish.... everyone complains about "what's wrong in Washington" and they're as much a part of the problem as any one else...

Maybe you need to slim down and join the military and spend a few years depending on those weapons to save your life and maybe you wont feel it necessary to pick with the group trying to keep them in your unappreciative hands.
IMO you should have to do 4yrs at minimum of ACTIVE duty not the weekend warrior garbage that the no go's and nasty girls do (for those of you not in the military im referencing the national guard) or you have no right to be here in this country!Thats the problem here you got a bunch of over opinionated panty waists that wanna say or do this and that but when push comes to shove they aint got the balls to fight or stand up for what they belive or claim to belive in.

I also have 0 interest in serving a country that has more intrest in thier appearance to other countriespre than helping out there own citizens. along with the fact that they control everything including fuel prices don't get y wrong I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else but our country real is f*cked

I did not serve in the military for certain health reasons. I did go to the recruiting office when I turned 18 and had a nice long conversation with the recruiter. I was told then that I couldn't serve in any sort of active role but was recommended for the officers program. I politely declined and left for a public sector job. While I haven't looked back, it certainly has never left the back of my mind.
Just so that there is no confusion at all, the greatest right we have in this country (and it's biggest burden) is the one you seem to have a problem with, the RIGHT to have an opinion and free thought. What if I don't have any guns? Am I automatically not allowed to have an opinion on a pro-gun right groups telling lies for political gain when they called MY HOUSE? Seems you need to sit down some time and read back through that Bill of Rights sometime and really learn what it's all about. Focus on the first one...
Just for the record, I am a gun owner and I do believe that the second amendment does apply to every free man in this country. I believe everyone should have the ability to own a gun if they so choose. I do also believe that people who do not so choose should shut their trap about my ability to so choose but that's really another discussion altogether.
Obama is tryin to pass the one million gun ban.. this ban will prevent almost one million US MADE m1 garands sitting in a warehouse in Korea from returning to the usa!!!! The gun that won ww2 us made property wont end up in the hands.of.collectors and.hunters.all over the us.. im a supporter of nagr a group fighting for the return of this famous rifle to its home land!!...
