ok so i just cleaned my carb after gettimg it wet put a new spark plug in and it started rite up and idle and sounded good but now it takes for ever to start and wont run right and smokes more than usal so just help me out ill answer any ?s u can come up with or trouble shoots

I'm gonna guess that your crank seals are blown.
This is a quick test you can do, drain the transmission oil and replace it. Then start it up let it run for about a minute shut it off. Then look at the little sight glass on the bottom of the motor to see if the oil is still there. That should be an easy way to let you know if its the seals.
If the level of oil has changed significantly then its likely a crank seal problem

low compression? needs a rebuild maybe, how long since the topend was rebuilt? what jets? do a compression test that will tell you alot.
is it really easy to kick the kick start like by hand even?

i can easly push the kick starter down with my palm and barley with my thumb

if its easy you have lost comp. go to autozone and get a compression tester, its like 25 bucks. screw it into your plug hole, hold the throttle wide open and kick it 4 or 5 times, see what the gauge says if its below 140psi you need new top end. rings, piston, hone and bore if its scratched up bad. its easy to build but you must do a leaktest before you go to start it the first time, or it will blow up again. get a piston kit and gaskets off ebay for about 120 or so and a bore job is about 50.

ok it starts right up when its cold but takes a little when warmed up and u have to pump the thottle to get to the powerband in first then u can shift and not pump it but it still doesnt have the power it shoult i looked at the top of the piston and it looks good

could it be my jets its like 95 and high humdity i never changed them and it was in the 60s and 70s and medium humdity when i bought it and thats when it ran golden it smokes more than it did when i bought it to

you need to do a comp test, also what size carb/manufacture are you running, and what kind of mods. I'm guessing that you just looked at the pilot jet, and not the main, and even that seems big, but I could be wrong as I don't know jetting worth a damn yet.

Higher humidity reduces the amount of O2 the motor has to burn, which will richen the fuel to air ratio. Cooler air is more dense, there for more available O2 to burn with the fuel. 20 degrees can make that differance in running expecially on moded motors.

Very good point, but I have notice my bike run a sh*t ton better the hotter it gets, today was hot as hell out and it ran like a striped ass banshee ( I kept up with a 350x haha and won).

btw i have a 310 main jet in wit toomey b1, v2 reed cage with boyson power reeds and reed spacer, uni air filter, no lid and carb is a miluaki stock i thimk so 26mm
