I have decided to upgrade the ignition system on the blasty since I went through three coils and two plug boots, One of the coils was brand new but only lasted half a season. Not sure what is up with that. I tore my wiring harness apart and checked continuity on the wires also check grounds, Stator, and all was good. Only conclusion was maybe getting too hot and breaking internally??? But not sure all I know every coil that went bad Both the primary and secondary went on all three of them. So Instead of pissing around with another junk stocker coil and wires and possibly getting stranded on the mountain, I decided to do some research and talk to a couple members who are currently running this setup! Dually gave me great info, and also is hooking me up with pics on how he mounted his as these can fit in the stock position with some modification But I am going to mount it under the hood, keep it away from the heat as much as I can.

Now to the great part!... so I emailed Nology and talked to- Jeff Kline of Nology Engineering Inc, Owner CEO, as I couldn't find a part number anywhere, and really didn't want to pay Project Blaster prices. I must of talked to him for a good 45 minutes or so, great down to earth guy looking out for us little people! He not only gave me the part numbers, He sent me a 2 sets of Hotwires, and coil, and sliver tipped sparkplug, (YES The whole entire System) for No Charge! All he asked was that I do a write-up and give my honest opinion! Now that is a freekin hook-up! How could I refuse?

I decided to donate the other set to the Dragger build! Should help with getting the power to the wheels!

The coil is backordered but should be here next week or so, Then a quick install- yes I'll have pics, not sure about a vid- then a ride report!

Thanks JEFF!

For now here is what came today VVVVV 8.1 mega pixel HD camera sucks at close ups!

you should get atleast 25 extra hp outa that thing man. lol just kiddin. I love new parts. you will have to give us some feed back on that bad boy

i have been wondering about these for sometime, but never felt it necessary to pay what PB askes for them. That is a nice hook up, if it works out, i may just have to give it a try

I don't know about getting HP, but I'm hoping I can quit having ignition problems!

This is one of those parts that you may actually see a difference on paper, not so much by the seat of your pants- No I'm not sayin the word!

Couple memebers run them! It just seemed like a better choice than the others and i have hear no negative comments about this either.

They have a limited lifetime warranty says right on the box! We will see!

The nology coil and hot wires is a great setup. You will see a big difference in spark, more redefined, and it will actually make your bike start easier.I love mine and reccomend them to all.Slick you are going to love yours and can't wait to hear your ride report.I have nothing but good things to say about nology products. From what you just posted seems like there customer service is top notch.

i have put one on my bike and it is definitly an upgrade. i think the spark looks 10x brighter than it was and she starts up almost by itself... lol. i would think that cramming as much air and fuel into these motors would drown out or foul a plug almost especially if your running alky in a drag bike with 2x as much fuel. but not with a spark like the nology coil provides...

i will agree with the pb prices as i even pm'd an owner and he wouldnt budge on it. i ended up getting it from someone else for almost 50 dollors cheaper. also the ngk makes a wire that is comperable and cheaper than the nology hotwire.

cant wait for the ride report and hope it last longer than the stock unit slick!!

No problem! Or you can contact Jeff at Nology.com and get it from the source!!

Oops forgot part numbers!!

Wire kit-# 012 001 036

Plug Number-#150 141 060

coil part # PFC-03-S 0.25 ohm single high tension

hot wires part # 012 001 032 90 degree digital motorcycle universal 23" long

I use a b8eg plug but Nology makes one very similiar and just as good.

what are we talkin for the final price tag on this thing. I was just screwin with ya about the horsies slick, bc of that 10+ hp spark plug on egay. lol

it is probobly a hp increase on some bikes... i paid 114 shipped for mine with the ngk wire.

That's not bad! I'd have no problem spending a $100ish for a quality product, why not, I spent sooooo much more on everything else, just makes sense to upgrade the electronics to make everything else work to it's full potential!

A bad cdi can cause the primary and secondary to short by having loo long of a saturation period. Something to keep in mind if it happens again.

Yes it sure can, I have tried swapping that out too! I thought I put that in the original post but it didn't
