No Spark? No power from CDI Stator Bad?

Also the motor is really tired (worn) and I can spot some pieces of metal on the plug (not much but its there). Would that have any affect on the spark?

I am not liking the sound of pieces of metal on the plug!

Metal particle on a plug usually mean that there may have been some detonation happening!

Are you trying to get spark with the old plug, if so it could be affected by the metal particles!
