no psark......!!!!! :(

if it happened when you tore it apart then its prob a ground or you crossed some wires and could of possibly shorted some thing out
you sure you didnt connect the wires for the original key start a black wire with white stripes if you did that will cut coil spark

i dont need a harness now, i know it stumped me too. you know where the oarnge wire comes back and connects to the coil? well i cute that so bare wire was showing and held it to the motor and wah lah it sparks everytime. but i slpice it back in and nothing..... this blaster has one more chance befor its history haha

thats what im heading to too. but i checked it with a meter and it has good resistance. im gonna buy a new coil or does anyone have any laying around they dont need and could help a bro out?

trust shes had manyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy chances haha. i have six jugs, two bottem ends, went through five rebuilds of the top end, 3 in one summer. haha shes finnaly all back together right and air tight. but now no spark. it always has to be something wrong ha

Ok, so you say you have power going to the coil wire but when you hook it up to the coil you get nothing? Again i would think a bad coil, but if you test the coil primary and secondary and they both tested good, it's not the coil! Have you checked the resistance on the stator coil, (source coil)? if that's in range then that is good. And i'd say it a ground issue.

i have power to the coil, and its putting it out the wire but its weak. its too weak to spark. is this the cdi?

Possibly, If the source coil checks out ok and is within limits yes the CDI I would say is the problem, but not enought juice could be a bad intermittent ground only way to check them is to remove them and check that they are on bare part of the frame no paint or dirt. I would see if a buddy would bring a coulpe parts over and start with the CDI.

all grounds are down to metal. just cleaned them with a wire brush, i only have one ground. its under the coil. is there suppose to be any else. i just want spark, no tors no oil, or no lights.

According to th wiring diagrams, the stator is grounded, and the cdi is grounded black wires. And you said you have the coil grounded witch it correct.

all other grounds are for lights and tors unit!

the cdi wires are wired together, and goes back to the stator wires and oarnge to coil.

the black wire is coming from the ground under the coil then into the stator wire . then black/red on black/red , white/red on white/ red whats missing?
