okay well i dont have anyspark. i got all good grounds. i tested the stator. and it read good. i cut the oarnge wire connector (that connects to the coil) off and put it on the motor and the wire sparks everytime. but i splice it back into the coil and nothing. whats wrong????

i had the same problem me and my dad where just messing with everything we could and he unplugged the tors and boom first kick
oh well i just cut the wire on the tors box on the carb but it was the box under the hood that got me
I thought you had another thread about this same problem?? I couldn't find it so here is the diagrams again...
And what was the results on all of them cause if all checks out when you get to page 7-12 it says if all is good replace the cdi unit!
now that slick mentioned it, it has to be the CDI or the coil wire.. would the stator have anything to do with it?
Sounds like the coil is bad, If your getting power to it but it's not putting out enough juice, Just my thought.
I had a coil that worked good then studdered then worked then finally died.
