Picked up a Suzuki LT 125 off of Craigslist dirt cheap last night. Already got it running and been riding it around some. Needs a seat, chain tensioner and chain, carb choke slide (missing) and tires on the front. The guy I bought it from was "fixing" it but he did not have a clue what he was doing or talking about, hence why I got it cheap.

Had to replace the fuel pump vac. line and the o-ring for the primer bulb as well as fill in the vent and main hole for the primer system since the rubber is gone. Runs like a champ now.

Here are the pics from the CL ad. I have already painted the plastics as well now. Post those pics tomorrow when its daylight so I can take some.

lol cool thats cool im picking up a lt500r in two days im so happy how do you like the quilty of the old suzukis do you think they where build well?

Yep. 24-25 years old and fires up on the first pull with no smoke, shifts perfect etc. No suspension sucks though.

hope you didn't pay more than $75 for it i have a suzuki 1986 185 for you if you want an a 1982 185s honda 3- wheeler

Haha that is what I paid for it. Can't complain since I've put $10 into it (including gas) to get it going. Perfect pit bike/beater to ride around the neighborhood. This is the one that will get left outside all the time while the other 4 stay in the paininmyasstogetout garage.

Not very with no chain tensioner on it, I don't want to mess up the sprockets. But its a 4 stroke 125, its not fast.

all my toys are out side i lost my house now a apt. i hate the rain my wheelers an bikes are just rusting.

Well this is about as far as I'm going to go with this thing. Just get a seat and be done with it now.
