Hello all, 36 year old dad, with a 3 year old boy(BIG). Time to give him the chance I never had =). Well mom and pops needed something to tool around on with him. Ended up with a 97' Blaster, as I can keep and pass to him in about 6-7 years =). Got it for a song at $500 =). Chrome holeshot rims, holeshot front tires and razor backs/FMF fatty to boot. BUT I've been ridin a HD since 95', and no 2 stroke or atv exp period. Shes got problems, so I figure I would sign up and see if I can get some help from a Blaster dedicated forum. Finally got it out on a descent piece of land, its fun =). Thanks in advance for any help offered, and keep ridin =).

Thanks for the welcomes. Shes got clutch or gear issues? Which subforum should I go to for help? Engine? BTW, cant believe what I was missin, felt like a kid today =). Goin from a 1200cc 4 speed to a 200cc 6 speed is a BIG difference. 4 tires and mud helps also. Gonna have to park the Jeep when I get too the riding ground now =).
Welcome, there are everything you need to know lists in the engine section & a couple others too, I think. You can also click on the search button & type in "clutch" or anything else & hit go! I got my Blaster so my son can have it someday also, but the more "mean ol' dad" rides it, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to build another (slower) one for him lol.

No pics yet, she aint nutin special =), but hey definately worth 500 bones. I'll get a shot up. Gonna sniff around with the search, but prolly post my exact problems, so I can get some parts comin. Hopefully its all outside the cases =).
