hey guys. I just bought a 2004 blaster to fix up for my senior project and could use some advice. the bottom end needs to be rebuilt, i think the whole thing may be seized up. is there anything i can do short of buying a new engine? Also I was thinking about swapping the 2 stroke for a 4 if i have to get a new engine. any ideas how that might turn out?

first things first dont swap out a 2 stroke for a 4 stroke. and depending on how bad of a condition the motor is actually in it could be cheaper to buy a newer one or try to fix that one. some members on here are selling motors right now if you want to check them out

I undertsand your new here... But why would you want to put a 4 stroke in a blaster? Are you sure the bottom end is siezed or the top end? Only time mine ever seized is when my piston busted and wedged under the crank, it was an easy fix.. Cant really give ya advide without knowing more about the situation or what your tryin to do.
