Just picked up my new truck. My 2000 silverado is approaching 220,000 miles so it was time for a upgrade. I picked up a 2011 leftover with 6 miles for $17,800.

Nope, it's the base model. I'm not one for frills. Only option I wanted was the V-8.

Nice score! Nothing wrong with a base model, either. My '04 Silverado is as basic as they come and I love it. V-6 engine, 2wd, cloth seats, rubber floors, manual locks, manual windows, manual seats, manual transmission... The way I see it, less stuff to break down...

Yep, my 2000 is the same was. Manual everything! I see it the exact same way, less to break, and I have a car for the luxuries.

Thanks man! It's got about 150 miles so far and the mod bug is well underway! Already installed the bug shield and ordered tow hooks, and bed liner. Next on my list
