Boy you got a good deal on that one. I hope you have deep pockets. Upgrades are very addictive and never ending. Are you a member over at BHQ. Great place for parts and help. The parts sell fast ( really fast) though.

Keep us updated.

Its good for how I like it don't really need to do anything too much to it rather just have a stock bored banshee with pipes a few little add ons and that would be cool for me

I had some fun on it today for the little bit I rode it it needs a lil work but nothing too too major its in really nice shape had a dumb key problem today on the side of the road but got it fixed the wire came out the harness cause my buddy lost his key other day but he did find it so we pulled the wires on the harness and wired them up and the wires came apart where we taped them off but everythigs right now lol I love this thing its wicked fast defenitely going to do shift star mod and timing advanced on it.

I hate you! :D What I wouldn't give to own another Banshee...

Honestly, a Banshee is really fast enough (for me, at least!) after just pipes, airbox lid removal, and re-jetting. You're smart to fix up the little stuff and keep the engine close to stock for now. I'd look at some improved front shocks and maybe a wider rear axle to get the modding going. Good luck with the new toy!

Oh! I've got a good used belly skid plate for a 'Shee if you need it. Shoot me a PM and we'll talk.

Actually it has skids on it I believe it does have a arm skids I do know that and its bored 40 over lol but it still needs some tlc the one cylinder had messed up head bolts and helicoils was installed so I am looking into getting some used cylinders from my buddy then I am going to get new pistons and rings found 2 wisecos with everything for like 150 so not to bad of a deal prob going to give the wife the blaster she told me too keep it and so I am going to its been really good to me thanks to a few helping members on here for tuning tips and other things but I will still love riding my blaster I love how it sits and the size of her I love just whipping it around and shes alot easier to fix then the shee will ever be and now I don't have to sell my blaster next year to buy a shee now I have both.

Yup, you've got the best of both worlds! I tell 'ya what, if you've gotta re-do the cylinders anyways in the coming months, I'd talk to Flotek. They can get some SERIOUS power out of stock Banshee cylinders with just a port job and a little head modding.

not really looking into too much with it and cash has been a lil tight but the guy down a few miles from me does porting and a few other things and hes really good and local so I will most likely be going with him maybe tax time I will go with a port and polish and cool head.

Sounds like a plan! I know how that money goes...I wrecked recently and was lucky to be able just to afford a new set of handlebars. Lol.
