Hey everyone...my name's Kyle. I just turned 22 today and I live in Independence, MO. I just picked up my Blaster yesterday off a trade. It need a little work startin with a new clutch and seat. Other than that it seems pretty solid. I can't wait to start riding again since I had my last 4-wheeler (86 Suzuki LT250R) about 5 years ago. If there are any members in my neck of the woods contact me!

Thanks..I'll post pics here in the next couple days after i do some carb work and clean it up some. I'm in the garage now pulling off the carb to clean it since it sat in a shed for a couple years without running.

welcome! I just moved to Peculiar from Independence. The guys are great on here as far as knowledge goes. I have found an answer to every problem so far. Also, where do you go to ride? Anyways grats on the blaster, and take it easy

I'm not real sure where I'm going to ride yet...lol. My family used to have a little bit of land but recently sold it. Any suggestions?

Hey welcome to the forum. I live in the St. Louis area. Let me know if you need any parts i got some layin around.

Thanks. Were there many design changes over the years of production? Is everything interchangable for the most part? I was told the bike was an '86 but he didn't seem real sure and it doesn't have a title.

they started making the blaster in '88. the major difference is from '88-'02 they have cable mechanical brakes but in '03 they switched to a hydro set up. other than that everything else interchanges.

i hear st. joe is pretty nice but haven't been there yet. deepwater is where i go most of the time, its down by clinton, its about 400 acres and its free, which is nice. theres alot of varied terrain also, but can be REALLY muddy. We just went to grand lakes in oklahoma and that's a blast too. lots of rocks so hope you like it bumpy.... other than that welcome and hope all goes well with your new blasty

Welcome to the looney bin.lol Lets see some pics of the blaster. We love pics.

I took some pics but my SD card is not cooperating with me. Trust me you wouldn't want to see them anyway. It's in about 654646413546512254 x2 pieces right now because I am in the process of completely checking it over/ cleaning it. The frame is white, A-arms are blue, fenders are white. The seat, gas tank cover, and nose piece are red. I'm not happy with the colors so I'm trying to decide on a new color scheme. I'll keep workin on the pics tho.

Here are a few cell phone pics...Like I said before I'm in the process of cleaning it up and decided whether I want to go ahead and paint the frame.
