Hey everyone. My name is Tim. I havent had an off road toy since i was about 9 years old with a little pw80.
I have had street bikes and love to tinker with my car but picked up a blaster for something new to play with.
I got it in trade for a streetbike project that i was working on ang lost interest in.
I am told it has a vito's 240 kit and got an extra piston with rings as well as extra spark plugs and various jets for the carb.
When i got it the P/O had broken the clutch lever and snapped the cable.
So i promptly ordered new parts which came in today. A few minutes of work and i wass ripping up the backyard with it.
I have gone in excess of 170mph on a street buke but i will say that this thing might actually be more fun.
I was intending to repair it and sell it but i decided i will keep it for a while.
Anyway here are a few shots of it.
If anyone woould like to give me a hand with some info that would be great.
The P/O pulled out all of the wiring
to simplify working on it but he also pulled out the kill switch so it is set to idle too low and stall out.
i dont like that very much at all so i want to put a switch back on. I am pretty good with wiring but if someone
wouldnt mind letting me know where the original kill wiring went that would be great.
also i am now entirely familiar with carbs but there are two vaccum hoses on there that are just ran down under the bike and are open.
im not sure where they should have gone. Heres a pic:
thanks
