New Piston and Fresh Bored Cylinder

Just some questions im asking if i need t odo anything further with it..

'm getting my cylinder back from a ATV place i was recommended on here.

My new piston size is 66.5 mm (.20 over)

any other things i should do with my engine before putting her back together??

I'm not into the whole spped thing but more into digging into some mud and every now and then shooting across the open field..

Awk pretty much has it covered . You may want to check your jetting to make sure it's good.

how are the jettings checked

list your mods....pipe, filter ect. ect.
and what carb your running, then we'll be able to get you close, then use plug chops to confirm main jetting...............

Why did the top end need gone through? Just worn out or was it a catastrophic failure?

boring requires no jetting changes,
stock jetting will be fine..........
32.5 pilot
airscrew somewhere around 1.5 turns out
needle on the middle clip
230 main jet

if an aftermarket filter, or anything else that allows more airflow into, or out of the motor (aftermarket pipe), your jetting will need increased, and plug chopped to confirm

eleveation also plays a big role, sea level will need richer jetting than mile high Denver Colorado

plug chops are the safest way to confirm main jetting, and should be done before riding it
