300? Starting there is quite high no? Maybe start like 290 or so, or whatever. I am just lazy so I would start with the 290, but to do it right 300 is the way to go ;)

Congrats on the new FMF, you should be in for a pleasant surprise if you were running a stock pipe before. Awk's advice is right on ( as usual haha ). I also have a full FMF with aftermarket air filter, vf3's air box lid ON but snorkel removed and 270-280 is perfect for summer weather. I live in NY too and I know its been pretty damn cold lately, cold weather requires richer jetting as does your air box lid being removed. You should be pretty close starting with that 300 main as Awk suggested !

thanks everyone!!! i will start with the 300 and start choppin awayI:I since i do ride in winter should i be plug choppin at night since its colder?and when its richer during the day because of warmer temp deal with it?better safe than sorry right?

If you ride at night when the temp is lower, then plug chop then.

If you only ride when the temp gets up a bit, chop then, why jet for a lower temp and then not ride in it.

I always jet one size richer, I like to be always on the safe side, the amount of power lost is not noticable.
