Hey everyone figured I'd join the forum so I could use the search function and try and see if a Blaster might be for me. I love 2 strokes, but I want to get back on a quad. My only issue is that I'm 6' 200lbs. I'm afraid I'll be too big, I don't know anyone with a Blaster to ride or even sit on.

yep plenty of guys here that size. i'm 5'10 200lbs and my blaster has plenty of power. it does have a cap but the cap is pretty damn fast in my book

civic is 6ft7 and like 320lbs, and he hauls around pretty good on his 240 blasty..i dont think youll have a prob dude...blastys are fun little bikes for sureI:I

I'm 6'3" 200 pounds and have no problems with fitment on the Blaster. I do have a Maier race front end, I was banging my knees one the front fenders before that. Some have made more rider room with mods such as lowering the pegs, extending the swing arm, raising the stem and moving the rear fenders back. I owned a 400ex for a couple of months before I bought the Blaster. It was a real nice quad but I'm just not much for 4 strokes. I'm happy as I can be with the Blaster, I'm not interested in buying another quad made (but i would like to have a Banshee engine swapped into a YFZ450 chassis). I don't know how the Blaster would suit you but for me it's ideal....cheap buy in, plenty of upgrade options, very simple to learn to work on, light, nimble and a great support group to help you through the common illness associated with Blaster ownership ( the modding bug).

Im 5'10" 170 now but I was around 220lbs when I bought my blaster.. I have moved the rear plastics back 4 inches and raised the handle bars 1",+4 swing arm,...It fits me great and really rips,I have no trouble keeping up with bigger quads on the trails, hell sometimes they cant keep up..

Im from Alabama(Huntsville area) as well,if your anywhere close you could ride mine..

6'2" 160. it can get a little tight, but it's great in tight trails.
I'm in Montgomery and have two blasters. If your nearby your more than welcome to try one.
