not to be a jackass but what was wrong with the old one? yes I can see the aftermath, but what caused it? This is something that I would have looked into before droping the money on a new bottom end.

To answer that I just took a look at the old bottom end everything was loose a couple of stuff was just f***Ed beyond comprehenshion, corrosion rust cunks missing, i believe it was already f*cked up when I bought it, and when I looked at my jug the thing had a big ass streak missing in it and
my rings were melted

Also we never checked the bottom on the rebuild so yea, still pending on bottom end analysis of the new one

that piston is fine, all u need is some rings for it u shold be good to go.....lol j/k

u really need to check the whole motor and see if there isnt pieces down in there, check bearings seals, everything, go through it with a fine tooth comb, nothing worse than rework....and def get the cyl bored or sleeved if need be.
