I have a great engine in my quad but I started thinking ..................I can build it Better..........Stronger..........Faster.......( From the Six Million Dollar Man............yes I'm that old!)........and SEXY! I just spent five days with a die grinder, $50 worth of sand paper, a jar of Mothers and a bunch of carbon fibre. This is where I'm at. Polished clutch cover with a blue carbon fibre oil pump cover ( not done yet), polished center cases, and a blue carbon fibre stator cover. All of the internals are on the way. Bore will be 68 mm. Cylinder will run a 1.5mm spacer plate, cut at the top and ported. Head will be 17 cc's with 11 degree squish angle with about .040” squish. I was thinking about a stroker crank but decided not to do it. I can't find the rods if the crank needs to be rebuilt and I don't think it's worth the $160 for a new crank when I want to rebuild.
