New clutch cable??

my clutch cable is adjusted so far back that its backed out of the housing.. and the handle is still "floppy"... is this because by cable is old and stretched?? or could it be something more?? hopefully i can just put a new cable on for 15 bucks and be done ? :-/ ?

how old is the cable? they do stretch over time and need replaced

i just got the blaster like 2 weeks ago, but as far as i know its never been replaced.. its an '03 by the way.

you can adjust it internal

im not familiar with the internal adjustments, but it need to be tightened at least a half inch just to get a couple threads on the top adjustment, then it runs a chance of needing more to take the slack out of the handle
