I am going to buy a oil injector block of kit.and put on my carb I have from my 440cc snowmobile it's a mikuni.will it work.will it be too much fuel.my blaster is bore .20 over with weisco forged piston.i have air box lid removed also.i keep blowing head gaskets I have a small exhaust leak and that's it.the carb has stock jets.so I want to just remove the oil injector it dont work anymore.wat ratio should I mix my oil and gas if I run this snowmobile carb

you can make anything work with enough time and money but I wouldent put on a blaster if it was over 30mm because it is way too big for a stock blaster

If I were you I would do the following in this order......

- Compression test
- leak test
- remove head and install new head gasket
- torque the head down
- fix exhaust leak
- inspect the reeds
- heat cycle motor
- retorque the head down
- jet the bike (or put the airbox lid back on) using stock carb

You can not remove the lid without putting in a bigger main jet. I'm assuming you have a stock exhaust. If you have an aftermarket exhaust you will need a bigger main jet too.

Also if I run with the stock carb and I take off the oil injector do I have to plug up the hose that goes to the carb bc if I just leae that open in it would suck ail right?

yep, it must be blocked off.
an 1/8" vacuum cap from any auto store works great, completely remove the hose and put it right on the brass nipple on the carb.

Head bolts are 20 ft lbs, clean and dry no Loctite.

Block the nipple and run 32:1 or 25:1. 32:1 needs one size bigger main, 25:1 needs another size up.

Air box lid off calls for a two sizes bigger main jet.

Plug chop to confirm jetting.

Any exhaust leak can cause a lean mixture, seal up the leak.

What size jet should I run.i have a k&n air filter, baffle took out stock exhaust.i believe it has boysen reeds to.but I plan On getting a fmf full pipe.and v force 3 reeds so what size should I get

What size is the carby?

There must be a reason why the head gasket keeps blowing, make sure it is not warped.

Are you using new gaskets?

Jetting for a stock 26mm (which is all that you really need with your mods),
+1 for the filter,
+2 for the lid,
+1 or 2 for premix,

so the jets needed are
#270 - #280 main,
#32.5 pilot ,
stock needle on middle slot.

If you go with a FMF then add 3 sizes to the main jet!

Fix the exhaust leak, set the float level, adjust the idle as per specs and do a plug chop.

Larger carbys often share the same jet settings, but not always, you must plug chop to confirm!

My local dealer said that I don't need to jet my carb leave it stock jet he said it will make my 4 wheeler lose power and run like poop.he said the only time u need to jet is if u bore .60 or more over with a fmf

Tell that guy he is an idiot and that advice will blow your bike up. Anytime you allow more air to enter you have to add more fuel to maintain the correct air fuel ratio.
