New Blaster owner from KY

I just bought my stepson an 02 Blaster. Im new to Blasters. Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated. The guy I got it from put some type of motorcycle brakes on the back. The are falling apart. :-/ I Love the Blaster so far though it is a great ride.

it's not a gxsr brake is it. if so awk will be chimin in really soon. he makes those convertions himself. there is tons of knowledge on here. read the stickies. the posts at the top of each individual section. the engine section is a good place to start reading. welcome to the site dude.

Ill get some soon. It is also leaking oil. I think it is gear oil.
what is the best gear oil to use? Is there a easy way to figure out where the leak is coming from?

10w 40 is fine but you can use bel ray gear oil or type f tranny fluid. you could clean the motor really good then the leak would stick out
