wanna upgrade my air filter any suggestions on my best choice to go with???

actually the K&N will let more sand through than the UNI style foam filters. There have been guys who find sand in the intake tract with a K&N, switch to UNI and no more problems

really? damn man i though water was the main k&n enemy.. is there anything k&n is good for lol? paperweight?

just doesn't seem like they work as well as an oiled foam filter for a quad, but i've always liked them on my cars and stuff

bought this bike out of boxes rebuilt just about all, lots of after market parts pretty hooked up has lots of mods y go with stock filter

you could get a CFM airbox and then put a uni in that. is the airbox missing from your plastics?

yea have only the rubber piece that goes to the carb

just might have to do that looks like a nice piece thats probally not much more than what a stock box and filter would cost me anyways

you'd still need a filter to go in it, that's just the box


but most of the time you would have to get rear fenders that still have the airbox in them to go the stock route

ya u can order the filter off there also for like 25 dollars extra

well....................the frame and engine cases and stuff are 88'..............but most of the rest is 2009/2010 lmao. i did the same thing as you, bought her in boxes and almost everything was junk on it

that is a sweeeet air box, not a bad price either, looks like it would breath much better than the stock rubber boot, more air more power!!!! I:I

I run k&n filters with knee high pantyhose for outerwears on my banshee and have never had a sand issue and I ride the dunes. and you can get colored ones to match your color scheme! with out the outerwears K&N filters let sand through learned it the hard way
