Does anyone know how to start a pull start mower without the little cord?

Yeah, reattach the pull cord.

'fraid not. Gotta take the cover off and reattach the cord. If you don't have the cord a piece of 550 would work. Make sure you put tension back on the wheel, otherwise you won't have any pull.

If you push it fast enuff, you may get the blade to spin starting the mower.

Or you could tear it down and fashion yourself a slave starter.

What brand and model of engine do you have? Most are easy enough to get apart and repair.
